The frame, constructed of solid Red Oak precision cut measures 28" in diameter and inlayed with 1-3/4" Black Walnut lettering of your choice. (limited space). The ring is constructed of 3/4" Red Oak attached to 1" thick "retro reflective tape" Black Walnut blocks for a nice 3D effect.
The entire ring is wrapped with 5/8" Poly Polypropylene Line for the true Life Ring appearance. 3/32" clear glass is inlayed into the frame to protest the contents. The box is my standard octagon which measures 23" in diameter constructed of solid Red Oak. Inlayed with Black Felt covered 1/2" foam for attaching your military items. Simply push the devices into the foam.
The solid Red Oak Flag Frame is constructed to fit a standard 3' X 5' American flag (not included).
The frame is attached through recessed screw holes in the back holding the frame tight to the box. A routered "keyhole" is carved into the back for simple mounting to a single screw. A sturdy wall anchor or stud mounting is required to keep it securely in place.
All my standard Military Shadow Boxes are made to order and stained with a MinWax Golden Oak then sealed with a clear glossy finish for a beautiful appearance.
